Responsibilities and tasks
The successful candidate will have a leading role in developing further the flow-acoustics splitting technique for simulating airfoils with porous trailing edges.
The successful candidate will develop an engineering noise model for modelling noise generated from airfoils with porous trailing edges.
The successful candidate will develop a CFD/CAA related optimization tool for designing low noise and high-performance airfoils.

Academic assessment work
Candidates should have a PhD degree or equivalent.
Experience in leading research projects
Good understanding of the aero-acoustics and aerodynamics of airfoils

Fluency in communicating, reading and writing English
Ability to work independently and in teams towards research goals

Salary and terms of employment The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
