The lab of Dr. Napoleone Ferrara is seeking a highly motivated individual for a postdoctoral research position at the University of California San Diego.
The successful candidate will join a team focusing on the regulation of ocular angiogenesis。 The projects will involve identification of novel targets implicated in resistance to VEGF inhibitors in wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and in other disorders。 Strategies to protect the choriocapillaris in dry AMD will be investigated。 A series of approaches will be employed, including the use of novel imaging technologies and mutant mice。
Qualifications Required/Academic Background
广东11选五 MD or PhD degree in a biological discipline and hands-on knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques are essential。 Knowledge of models of intraocular neovascularization models such as laser-induced choroid neovascularization or oxygen induced retinopathy is highly desirable。
